For those of you who may not know, October 21st is unofficially Back To The Future Day, because that’s the day Marty McFly and Doc Brown travel into the future along with Marty’s girlfriend Jennifer Parker. The fact that we're getting both of those 'best-case scenarios' in the same year is an amazing accomplishment for us, they’re things we'll never forget! We were all such huge Back to the Future fans here at Psyonix, that it was one of the few 'Holy Grails' we had hoped for besides having a hit game. "Truth be told, we used to fantasize and joke about having the DeLorean Time Machine in our game months before it even came out. Psyonix gab about it on the PlayStation Blog (don't mind it being the PS blog, Psyonix have confirmed it'll be on PC too): Ĭry "Great Scott!" and (in excited confusion) "Wubba lubba dub-dub!" as Psyonix are only flipping putting Doc Brown's DeLorean time machine into their footie-with-cars game. Well, that date is really for really reals almost here - October 21st, 2015 - and it's being marked in a fine way by Rocket League.
